I will focus mainly on the aesthetic qualities and functions of one of the gardens at the Alhambra in Granada, Spain – the Court of the Lions. In addition, I would like to compare another Islamic garden of Granada to the one at the Alhambra, specifically the Court of la Acequia (Court of the Water Channel) that is a neighbor of the Alhambra in the Generalife palace.
